We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming in-store sewing classes, designed to be fun, relaxed, and beginner-friendly 
Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to refresh your skills, our classes are a great way to learn the basics while creating beautiful, useful projects you’ll love to take home.
Class Details
• Length: 1.5 hours
• Skill Level: Beginner (no experience needed!)
• Each class includes a project kit (additional kits available for purchase)
• Sewing machines and tools provided (or feel free to bring your own)

Summer Schedule for July 2026 - August 2026
For ages 8 and up (or 6 and 7 with an adult supervision)
Sign up for one day or more, receive a discount when you sign up for 4 days in the same week. We will be using Sewing Machines, pinning and cutting. Most projects take one day to make unless otherwise noted. If they finish early we will keep them busy sewing, every child sews at their own pace. We want every child to finish at least one project in a day. If they are signed up for one day and don't finish by 1:00 we might call you and ask for some more time.
Days: Tuesdays – Fridays Time: 9:00 - 1:00

August 4th - 7th
*If your child is already enrolled in our regular classes, please pay for items in your cart before signing up for camp.
We are working together with Cedar Run, join us for 4 days of sewing
Sew a Stuffed Animal for you and sew a Pouch for a baby and or hurt animal in the Cedar Run Hospital. We will also donate 10% of this class fee to Cedar Run. We have designed animals that you would see at Cedar Run.
(Easy) Students will sew an stuffed animal using our trace and sew method. They chose short fur. They will use our speed controlled sewing machine and they will stuff and hand sewing their stuffed animal.
New this year we are also adding some Woodland Animals for students to sew and they can also also make their clothes.
The fee includes all supplies.
Your child might want to bring a mask this week because the fur fibers do float all over. *Your child can bring a snack (that is not messy) and a water bottle.

Sew your own fun school supplies using a variety of fabrics. Please go over the list with your child to help them decide what to make before coming to class. *Your child can bring a snack or lunch (that is not messy) and a water bottle.
(Easy) Pencil Case, Binder Cover, Spiral Notebook Cover , Marker/Crayon Rollup , Lunch Bag, Water Bottle Holder , Music Folder , Art Folder , Lanyard , Draw String Bag (for Gym), Change Purse, Easy Small Backpack, Scrunchie, Headband (Experienced) Level 2 and up- All of the Above or a Quilted Backpack, a Quilted Duffle Bag, a Quilted Chromebook Cover (we need the size of your Chromebook). Please know “Quilted Items” might take more than one day.

Here is a list of items they can make. Because they are first time and beginner sewers we will sew items in order. Make A Dress, Make A Skirt, Make A Top, Make A Purse, Make a Blanket, Make a Pillow, Make a Headband, Make Shorts for your American Girl Doll. Don't forget to bring your doll so we can try them on. Our goal is to finish one item a day and then keep them sewing (and hopefully finishing) more till the end of the day.
We have a 4 year kids sewing program. The regular sewing program runs the week of September 16th to the end of May

This program runs mid September - May
Sign up anytime of the year. Students use our machines and purchase fabric in our store. You can also purchase a machine from us, see below.
Students will use our Baby Lock Quality sewing machines with speed control for safety. We also sell these sewing machines if you are thinking of purchasing a machine.
Level 1 Use patterns (some are our patterns some are commercial patterns) to make a variety of projects to use, wear and to sleep in. All items are sewn with woven fabrics.
Level 2 Use patterns to make items using a variety of fabric types that are fun to use and to wear. Some items are sewn with stretch fabrics and a serger.
Tuesday – 4:00 – 5:00 Level 1 and Level 2
Wednesday – 4:00 – 5:00 Level 1 and 2
Thursday - 4:00 - 5:00 Level 1 and 2
Friday - 4:00 - 5:00 Level 1 and 2
Friday - 5:15 - 6:15 Level 1 and 2
*If the class you choose is full you will be put on a waiting list. We will be adding more students as soon as we have more staff.
Tuesday – 5:15 – 6:15 Level 3
Wednesday – 5:15 – 6:15 Level 3
This class is for students that finished our Level 1 and Level 2. You will need to start in September to get the most out of the class. Students learn more sewing techniques and create seasonal projects. Students will learn hand sewing techniques, machine techniques, design techniques. This year will get them ready for Level 4.
Thursday 5:15 – 6:15 Level 4
This class is for students that finished our Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. We will focus on simple design techniques. Students will crate a Character Outfit to be worn and judged at the Medford Dickens Fest. We will also design on a ½ scale dressform and there will be a competition with their designs. Students need to be creative and will learn to think about the order of putting things together. *This is all about having fun with design, as with designing sometimes things don't turn out perfect. Student will learn from mistakes too.

Learn My Sewing Machine Class - This class is for Adults and Kids with their parents. LMM is a 2 hours class that is scheduled the 1st Saturday of the month (as long as its not during a Holiday). *Bring your machine, book and accessories and learn how to use your machine.
